Getting to school at St Paul's

Just testing our photo uploading. A school bus to St Paul's!

Getting Ready to Go

Hi all, we have packed 58 duffels with school gear for 500 plus students. We are a group of seven: Bev Robinson who is our education trip leader and an amazing French teacher. Judy Reid, another amazing French teacher who will be working with the social studies curriculum. Greta Frohbieter, a stellar math teacher (I know because my kids were lucky enough to have her) who will be leading the math program. These three are old timers having done this education mission before. Dot Thompson is new to us but comes with a fantastic early childhood background. She is an expert in the Montessori curriculum and will be working to introduce some of that at St. Paul's. Mike Stowe is also a first timer and will be buried in the computer lab at St. Paul's. I think the staff is excited to see him. Maureen Beaty and I, Teresa Henry, round out the group. We have both participated in the Medical Mission for the last two years. Maureen will be our spiritual leader and I will be helping with logistics. We are both fortunate to get to spend time photographing the kids.
There is lots more I could say but for now, wish us luck and pass on the URL to anyone you think might be interested in following our work down there. We leave this coming Monday!
